Our Wedding

Our story began long before we even knew it was starting. We grew up in the same neighborhood — Avonlea Crossing in Georgia — where my brother Kyle and Stewart became best friends. Life took us in different directions, but fate had other plans.  Ten years later, in Nashville, our paths crossed again. At a Black Veil Brides concert we discovered that we shared the same favorite song — Rebel Love Song. That moment sparked something undeniable, and our friendship quickly became the love story we were meant to live.  A year later, Stewart proposed in the most perfect place — a Barnes & Noble. He handed me a book titled The One, and when I looked up, he was on one knee. My brother Kyle, sister-in-law Laura, and my favorite little person in the world, my nephew Jackson, were close by, cheering us on as our next chapter began.

Semi-Formal Our wedding is semi-formal with a summer, floral-inspired palette—think elegant but comfortable. For men: suit or blazer with dress pants, button-down shirt, tie optional; darker colors or navy work nicely. For women: cocktail dress, dressy skirt and top, or a tailored pant suit. Footwear should be dressy but practical for an outdoor/indoor mix. Please avoid jeans, athletic wear, and overly casual sneakers. We can’t wait to see you dressed up to celebrate with us on May 16, 2026.

We recommend renting a cabin in the beautiful Big Canoe Mountain community! It’s the best way to experience the magic of the weekend — surrounded by nature, cozy views, and all the fun just minutes away. The nearest hotel is about 30 minutes from the venue, so staying in Big Canoe makes things easier (and way more fun!).
